Does kindle for mac have text to speech

I think when I was checking voice over funcion maybe I have done something over there.However this funcion is off now. I do not have and idea where I have change this speed. To use these shortcuts, you must enable Text-to-Speech first. For some reason the speed rate which can be changed here : System Preferences/Accesibility/Speech :ĭoes not work for this option but works for version 1 when the text is highlighted. Text-to-Speech is only supported with Mac OSX 10.10 or above.

However just after I discover this funcion I have changed something with the speed and now it is reading too fast. Formats such as PDF have the text size set by the author. this option I just discovered today and is great as it let me to listen whole book ,the pages are changing automaticly and I can pause the text with space bar-which I was missing so much before. orĢ.Second option is to listen whole text instantly by using :in Kindle application : in top bar : Tools/Start Text To Speech.
